Fused Silica Crucibles

Made in NZ using Thermal SolutioNZ uniquely formulated fused silica, blended and slip cast at our Auckland workshop. A-Type crucibles have a tapered profile and are primarily used for melting precious metals; gold, silver, brass, bronze and aluminium. C-Type crucibles have straight walls and are primarily used for melting glass.

The unique fused silica blend offers superior thermal shock resistance, low coefficient of thermal expansion and the non-wetting surface ensures no loss of material during melting and processing. Temp Rating - 1400°C.
